Second Verse, Same as the First

Included in the injury report today: Boozer and Korver.  That means that the list of players who are either out, doubtful, questionable or day-to-day includes Boozer, Collins, Korver, Memo, Deron and Knight.  This is really getting ridiculous.  Here's the biggest question for me:  why is Koufos starting over Millsap?  The Des News says that they'll use Koufos to guard Oberto, the de-facto center, while Memo will guard Duncan.  I suppose I see the wisdom there, but why don't we start Millsap and make Oberto have to change his game rather than adjust OUR rotation to fit Oberto?

The losing streak in San Antonio is the stuff legends are made of, 21 straight.  I did a little research (as I commonly do) and in just the last 7 games in San Antonio, Ginobili and Parker have combined for an average of 38.4 points.  This is significant because NEITHER of them are playing tonight.  How much do the Spurs miss Parker?  They went from 101.8 points per game all the way down to 83.9.  WOW.  Being a sometimes-irrational Jazz fan means that I think we can win every game we play, and tonight is no different.  Even without Boozer I think that the Jazz will be competitive and will cover the spread (Spurs -4) and have a good shot to pull this one out.  It'll take the kind of energy we saw in the 4th quarter of the Bucks game and most of the Suns game.  WATCH OUT FOR ROGER MASON, this guy is a shooter and may hit 4 or 5 threes tonight (47.2% on the year).  Other than Mason I don't think anyone will really go off, Duncan hasn't been dominating against the Jazz really, usually averages his average, 22 and 12.  I'll take the Jazz 91-86.

We're going to lose. This freaking sucks. I can't believe after so much waiting, Boozer is out too. This is supposed to be one of the years of our wide-open window and it's being crushed! F&*% you Derrick Rose! You screwed us over!

Before today, Spurs highest scoring half: 46. I take back every good thing I said about the Jazz. They will never ever win in San Antonio again. EVER.

4 guys in double figures at the half, gave up 61 points. Hill, a rookie, has 17. I guess he's next on the list of guys that the Jazz will make look like an all-star.

Ugh. That was depressing. This is like a bad movie that isn't ending and I can't walk out of. It's "The Happening" all over again. The only reason I stick around is to see how the next guy gets hurt.

Just when I thought the pain of the Jazz losing to the Spurs "B" Team could not get any worse, it's followed up with the first....and better damn well be the last, "Twilight" comment on TBJ. How dare you Whistle, how dare you? I think I am.....no, I am going to be sick.
