Season Surprises: Any Jazz players?

ak

ESPN just released their Top 15 surprises of the season.

Who made the list from the Jazz? None other than AK-47.

AK's inspired play has caught the attention of the media. That is hard to do in Utah.

I have been really impressed with his ability to adapt in his new 6th man role. I was one of the loud mouthed opponents of this decision. "CB meet Mr. Crow. Mr. Crow CB will eat you now".

AK nearly pulled the 5x5 last night and has been the all around catalyst for the team while Deron is trying out his suits. AK has been playing so good, I've almost considered going to his wife's clothes store to purchase some jeans (Only if Booner if footing the bill of course).

So what do you guys think? Has AK impressed you this season? Come out, come out AK haters...

UPDATE: Boozer is doubtful against the Spurs. Reported by the DesNews.

See you in '09 Boozer. Get well soon. Good freaking night!

On to the positive. AK has worked his way right back to the top of my list this year. He is playing with passion and playing like he wants to lead this team. I have nothing but respect for A.K.'s effort right now.
I'm also impressed with Brevin Knight and of course Paul Milsap. Milsap is an easy choice but at the same time, all of us Jazz Homers have known what he is capable of so are we really that surprised? But Brevin has been a bigger, better leader than I thought he would. I could have thrown a jersey on an impressed Jazz fans more than J-Hart did, so I don't think we were expected much from Knight. However, Knight's experience has impressed me so much that I was actually missing his game last night. Never did I think I would say, "really wish we had Brevin right now." Nice work Brevin from all of us at True Blue Jazz. (Insert photo of all TBJ authors and their families for the '08 TBJ Christmas Card here.)

I absolutely HATE HATE AK's contract. I LOVE him as a player. My feelings on dumping him are for business reasons, not personal. He's a 8-9 million guy, NOT a 15.

If AK keeps up this level of play I think he deserves every penny he is getting. Would you rather pay AK 15 mil or Boozer 15 mil?

Reason being, we could be paying Millsap and AK 15 Mil combined.
