Feel free to post any additional Jazz notes in the comments section.

Today is the First Annual True Blue Jazz General Conference. We'll let you know how it goes.

UPDATE: Are you freaking flipping trucking kidding me Bill Simmons? Look at #9 on this link. Does he realize Deron played 1.5 games at 50%? Simmons is a Dux Bag. Stay Classy Simmons.

What's the over/under on someone getting injured at the Turkey Dinner event? Oh, and who is behind D-Will in that pic? Looks like George Mureson and/or Quazimoto. I think we all know the real reason AK has the dream life. Huh, huh....smilies/smiley.gif
Let's do this D-Will! 'Bout damn time!

May favorite line in that AK article was the one from Scott Skiles speaking on the altercations between players and coaches. Skiles says: "Too much is made of that. Nobody wants a team full of patsies who won't voice their opinions." I love that quote. It's one thing if the players being a baby, it's another if the player just wants to better the team. AK was being a little a both but I like the attitude Skiles had, plus I like Skiles because he and Shaq kicked a&# on NBA Jam! "Skiles Monster Dunk from Half Court"....."Shaq for Threeeeee!"

It's actually Kyle Korver, the prettiest man alive *sigh*

It's not really all CJ's fault... anyone in that situation would've rushed in to try and get the board... well, except for No Knees because he wouldn't be able to move. It just took an ugly bounce.

Plus... it's Larry Hughes! He sucks, he's not supposed to make those. 99 out of a 100 times, he misses. Unfortunately, we got him the day it falls.

What of Booze to the Knicks? Should we let him go? Or try to make a trade? Or anything?

Please, everyone follow my lead and bombard Bill Simmons with your thoughts on his recent comparison of D-Will and CP3 on this years stats:
-------------
Bill, Bill, Bill. You are slowly losing me. Not that I ever expect to agree with everything you say. (That would be lame if I did.) But please, enough with your D-Will, CP3 comparison. I don't care if you say CP3 is better but DO NOT compare this years #'s. Have you watched a Jazz game this year, have you followed them at all? D-Will has played in two games Bill. Two freaking games. He was playing in those games at 50% tops. Do not throw those #'s around like they are anything worthy of comparison this year. That's like comparing Tom Brady with Drew Brees this year. You don't do it because it's not a fair comparison. That's bogus and you know it.

David Lee & Malik Rose works.
Rose comes off the books after the season (money to resign Okur & Korver), Lee gives us another 'Sap like "big" at the 4-spot. It's not like they're using Lee that much either... he doesn't fit into D'Antoni's system. It's a hit offensively though... maybe we can get another pick from them as well.

Should we all send the same email? What'd he think of Jazz fans if he got a bunch of emails from Brock in SLC?

what's funny is that at this point I think he's the only one perpetuating the argument. "HEY, EVERYONE...look, people are comparing these 2 guys. LOOK, THEY'RE DOING IT!" If he didn't talk about it in EVERY DAMN COLUMN then people wouldn't get so fired up over it. Great way to self-promote.

OH, also:

The Jazz probably don't have any standing to sue the golf cart company. However, they could sue Collins for breach of contract (if he wasn't supposed to fool around in golf carts) then he could file a cross-claim against the golf cart co. If he has insurance then they would subrogate his claim and sue the gold cart manufacturer that way. However, I think the most culpable party is the gold course. They have a duty to make sure that the golf cart drivers are responsible, so they probably have drivers sign a waiver, in which case it would all come back on Collins for being an idiot. I think at this point, though, it's best to not bring any more attention to it seeing as it is a really really stupid way to get injured

That was hands down the best commentary I have ever read on an injury to our 12th man. That is insight and analysis that has earned TBJ two trophies in our young career.
