(CB Jack talking to Jazz fan who is holding on to the edge of a cliff with just his heels)

CB Jack: Look man, just listen to me for a minute okay? You don't need to do this. The season is NOT over. There are so many good things about to happen with this team. Just...just step back from the ledge for a minute so we can talk.

Think about the past week and how things have turned in our favor. Some examples:

• We beat the Lakers and Celtics at home. Big deal because if we keep this up, we may be looking at another 2nd round match-up against the Lakers. And we've proven that we can run with the NBA elite.  
• Deron and Paul didn't make the All-Star team. The Western Conference coaches have awakened a sleeping giant in Deron and he is about to go ballistic.
• AK is back and in classic form. Boozer is coming back....WAIT DON'T JUMP (CB Jack grabs Jazz fan after Jazz fan immediately prepares to jump when CB accidently mentions Boozer)...I'm sorry, I take the Boozer comment back. Step back buddy, I'm sorry I brought that up.
• Amare is having eye surgery and is gone for 8 weeks. Ginobili is gone for at least a couple of weeks. Oden is out...again. Bynum is still hurt. T-Mac is done for the season.
• True Blue Jazz is coming out with some great FREE give aways in the next few weeks. Even getting some shirts and hats made.

CB Jack:See Jazz fan? Just step back and look at all the great things we have going for us. I would go so far as to say we can be a 4th seed come the end of the regular season.

(Jazz fan steps back from edge. Take a deep breath. Starts to smile.)

CB Jack: I mean what's the worst that can happen? Boozer doesn't opt out?

(Jazz fan looks back at edge and gets that crazy look).

CB Jack: uh oh....
