Is this Really Happening?

If this shot was taken in the 4th Quarter, it went in. Guaranteed.

Knowing our chances of losing last night were 99.99% if I watch the game live, I followed the game via my wireless device. All of us have done this, well, except for the large following of pre-teens we have at TBJ, that better not have cell phones yet. In fact, if I see one more 10 year old texting while skate boarding I am going to be sick. Seriously? Who are you texting bud?
Anyhow, on to the game. So I'm following the game on my phone while battling three kids and notice "I Heart" Korver single handedly takes the game over. I figure if he is taking over I can watch the game.....nope. The 7 point lead Korver gave us disappeared just seconds after I tune in. Game off, Sesame Street on DVR back on. We all know what happens after that...my nine month old has a blow out, my three year old wets herself and my five year old decides orange juice tastes better if drank by a straw directly off the counter. Final Score: Booner: 1 Booner's Kids: 3. Why do I get a point, because I led the Jazz to victory by unselfishly following the action on my phone. No need to thank me though. The Jazz victory is all I need.
As much as we all know the Jazz can't lose that game, we also know the Jazz easily lose that game. The Wolves always give us fits and we have not been good on the road. Watching the Jazz kick it into gear and put the game away late was something I haven't seen from this team all year. For the first time this season I watched our Jazz say to themselves, "We do NOT lose this game." I've been waiting for that all year. Yes, we beat Boston, we beat L.A. but these are the games (T-Wolves, Thunder, etc.) we are expected to win and finally we did it.
The Jazz hold the longest win streak in the league right now and are slowly creeping up on division and conference leaders. The streak is bound to end, however, I do not see the fight, determination and consistent play ending anytime soon. It is an exciting time to be a Jazz fan. In a season frustrated with injuries we are peaking at the right time and I could not be happier. If you asked me a month ago how I liked our chances, I would have told you I have a better chance getting my PGA Card than the Jazz do making the playoffs. Ask me now though and not only do I believe we make the playoffs, we earn Home Court Advantage. How? you ask. Well, with our team at full strength and with me watching every game via my iPhone.

Thanks for being a True Blue Jazz fan booner. You should enter to win tickets!

That was a great game to watch, although the Jazz interior defense was horrendous. Love goes for 24? Really?

Side note: I Heart Love. That guy has a future in Utah. I'm telling you he will put a Jazz uniform on at some point. He's like a younger Memo.

Introducing the Starting Lineup for your 2011 Utah Jazz:

PG: D-Liscous Williams (His nickname will change by then. This D-Will thing ain't getting him anywhere.)
SG: Ronnie Brewer
C: Memo
PF: David Lee
F: Kevin Love

"That line-up doesn't work booner." Hey, don't worry about it. With two garbage men like Lee and Love we don't need anyone else.

i remember at the beginning of his career when Hot Rod took to calling him "Slick" Williams. Then that shit went away, quickly. It needs to come back. Slick is about 574,000 better than D-Will.

I like "Slick" Williams just not "Slick" Willy. And Hot Rod, after a few too many, would end up calling him "Slick" Willy. We can't afford to have someone on our team called "Slick" Willy. Have I said "Slick" Willy yet?

Maybe we pay tribute to Friday Night Lights and call him PG1. Then we have cameras follow him while he gets drunk with rally girls.

Sounds just like our high school career... Well, except for the football part, the drunk part or the part with girls. But we always had a camera with us.

If first came to the screen as a movie. Based on H.G. Bissinger's book, which profiled the economically depressed town of Odessa, Texas and their heroic high school football team, The Permian High Panthers.

A most excellent movie I'll add.

Still in third, huh? That really sucks. We'll be seeing you real soon and the Jazz better bring their A-game because Denver is looking stronger and stronger by the game!
