I am hearing rumblings from fans and family that Larry H. Miller has passed away today.  I have no substantiated news, but apparantly it is all over the local sports radio.  More news to follow as I get it.  It can be assumed that the cause of death was complications from diabetes.

Update: article from KUTV news on Miller's passing.

Update2: DesNews article, and SLTrib article

Update3: ESPN is linking to this article by Gene Wojciechowski, a good read about Miller's "boycott" of his own team.

Scrum's take:

LHM was certainly a polarizing figure to a lot of people.  He wore his emotions on his sleeve and always stood up for his principles.  He was a very hands on owner who never shyed away from the media.  Larry was truly a Utah icon and used his significant wealth to make the state of Utah a better place.  I'm glad his last memories of the Jazz were all victories,  especially the win over the Lakers and the exciting game last night against Boston.  He will be missed.

Every Jazz fan in the world owes this man a debt of gratitude for keeping this team in town for all these years. Many other owners would have sold out years ago and left us high and dry so today I thank Larry for giving us the Jazz and for caring about his team being competitive year in and year out. He will be missed and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends for their loss.
