Deron Done Done It Again

Say what you want, like us or hate us, love us or despise us, the Utah Jazz will be relevant for a long time as long as this guy is on our team:

Losing is not in his DNA. He is the Jack Bauer of basketball and has reached Chuck Norris status in his manhood. He was born for the fourth quarter, and he just willed us to victory after Brevin Knight single handedly tried to hand Phoenix the game (the Cage/Travolta conspiracy theory lives on…and Jason Shart wont get the best of us).

Deron, in all my homerness I salute you. I’ll leave the diplomatic breakdown to Scrum and Utesfan. If Denver and Portland honestly think that Utah is in decline, all I gotta say is he’s only 24, and he isn’t going anywhere. Enjoy our off-season while you can.

Touching piece, Agreement. That was a nice win for you guys. I noticed how quick you were to blame Brevin Knight and hail D-WIll as God without mentioning his 7 turnovers. Thats kind of a lot. Anyway, I'm glad you feel Utah is going to be good as long as Deron is there. I guess we'll see how good they are when playing without Boozer....and you won't be able to blame it on injury

Nice piece, yes... but posting it twice? Overkill?

And since when have I been diplomatic?

Ha, not sure why its up twice. I guess you would be more diplomatic and well thought out than I was when I wrote it...I was an emotional wreck. I think your assesment of Brev is right on, and I am practicallt begging Jerry to put Price in every game. I don't know what it is with ex-clippers point guards, but I hope we have learned our lesson.

CVD- If you watched the game, you would see exactly what I'm talking about. Deron may have had a lot of turnovers, but whe he played, the Jazz went up by 21. He then went out with foul trouble, and the lead went to eight litterally within a matter of minutes. Deron came back in, brought us back after we went down by five, and then turned it up and won that game for us.

I have said it before, I have had Boozer's back through all of his BS, but even I think you are beginning to give him too much credit. The guy has not played as good as Paul Millsap this year, so I guess "if" he leaves (which he wont) the Jazz will be as good as they are right now? Actually better because Paul, Deron, Ronnie, CJ will be older? Any way you look at it, this team could be very good for a very long time. Remember, you guys are the ones that continually talk about how young your guys are. Take out Brevin Knight, Jarron Collins, and Matt Harpring, and I would say we are pretty close (and I wouldn't exactly call Brev and JC big time contributers).

I didn't realize until after the game that Price was inactive because his wife gave birth. Still...Korver might have been a better backup PG than Brevs last night. Yikes

Agreed on Korver. How about CJ as back-up... didn't we try that in the RMR or something?

And congrats to Price (though I doubt he'll ever read this).
