Well, here it is...

Game 1 - Sun April 19 Utah at L.A. Lakers 3:00PM ABC
Game 2 - Tue April 21 Utah at L.A. Lakers 10:30PM TNT
Game 3 - Thu April 23 L.A. Lakers at Utah 10:30PM TNT
Game 4 - Sat April 25 L.A. Lakers at Utah 9:00PM ESPN
Game 5 * Mon April 27 Utah at L.A. Lakers TBD TBD
Game 6 * Thu April 30 L.A. Lakers at Utah TBD TBD
Game 7 * Sat May 2 Utah at L.A. Lakers TBD TNT

No 2 day rests until after Game 5. This is the only series where that is true. Count BBJ as one of those that is unimpressed. (I am too, but I have nothing to link to for that.) The series starts on Sunday.

How long do you think the series will go? Will the Jazz steal 1 (or more) in LA? Will they defend their home court?

If your are Jerry Sloan do you call up Fesenko and/or Koufos for this series? How else do we match up with their size? Can we solve our attitude/defense problems by Sunday? Maybe I'm a homer, but I still think we are the second most talented team in the West. How are we going to put it all together? The only hope I have is that the Jazz have turned on their playoff switch in the past. Maybe somehow they can do it again and catch the Lakers sleeping.

I'd call up one or both of them. Flop can be on the inactive list, as can Ronnie P. if he's going to be playing as much as he did during the games to end the season. Or maybe just one of them active, in case... Who knows.

Yeah... this team needs to turn the switch on now.

I'm as big a Jazz homer as there is, but my outlook is bleak. Speaking about switches, that may be the Jazz's biggest problem. They think they can turn on the switch when they need to, but they don't have the experience and defensive focus to do so. I think that's why they get beat by bad teams, they know they're better and assume they'll win. But when their sense of entitlement falls through and they don't play well, they find themselves unable to turn on the switch. Perfect examples, home losses to Minnesota and GS. They got outhustled by Minnesota and because they didn't have the right focus to start the game, the couldn't ever flip the switch and got outplayed in the 4th quarter. Against GS, they weren't able to ever flip the switch at all because their attitude sucked because they assumed they would roll over 7 former Rocky Mountain Revue players. Guess what? When you haven't paid your dues, you can't flip that switch. I think until a team has finished near the top of the conference standing year after year and shown defensive dedication and ability, the switch can only be turned on with 12 minutes to go in the first quarter. If they can learn that for next season they could do well, but I fear this series will be over in five.
